Saw this at Maggies show this year. If you've always wondered if a 5.7 liter Dodge Magnum V8 Hemi would fit in your PT Cruiser, here's proof that it will. It was very neatly done and looked great. Of course it's now rear wheel drive but I could live with that!

Heard it was going to be an option on the 2010 model ! =:-)
Hemi with Nitrous.... that thing should haul a$$...... ;)
Comes with its own motorcycle cop in the cargo area for your convenience. ;)
There was a car out of Nashville at the 2007 show in Williamsburg with a Chrysler V8 in his. I have also seen one with a Chevy V6 from a S-10 in it at the ST.Louis show in 2006. Both rear wheel drives. Thanks for putting the photos up.
There was a company in Florida doing these conversions. A friend checked on it. they drop in the 5.7 from wrecked Dodge trucks, a frame, rear end, everything turn key for $25,000. That's a bunch of money but more has been spent on some PT's and not near as unique.
I would get into alot of trouble with that little option..........VRUUUUUMMMMMM
It had a Ford rear end and he also has a turbo for it and Nitrious but it wasn't installed at Cruzin Clarion (Maggies Show)
Thats neat!!! California Cruizers offers a Caddy NorthStar v8 front wheel drive conversion. What amazes me is that with a stage 1 pcm and a cold air intake mod you can make just about any PT with a turbo a real mustang killer. The best part is you can do it for well under a grand .No wonder Chrsyler is trying to kill the PT. They would rather sell the higher priced hemis'

This one is in a PT out of Cleveland, TN. A very nice installation that looks like it belongs there.

Very nicely done.  I love all the sheetmetal work, and the fan housing.
