Hi Bruce,
I remember you from Maggies show. Hope this winter is treating you well in Canada. I can't wait for good weather to arrive so we can start Cruisin'.
My car stays in the garage from December till around mid March. I've never driven it in the snow. The paint is far from original, it was last painted in 2005 and has 7 layers of clear coat on it. The only wax I use on it is Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax. It's the best I've ever used. As a matter of fact, you can put it on and if you forget to wipe it offf, you can wipe it off the next day with no problem, it doesn't flake up like other waxes.
Hope to see you and the misses at some shows this year.
Chet
We found it on Craigslist. There was a guy selling a bunch of stuff down in Brockport, NY. He had bought it to put on his 2003 GT, but had sold the car before putting it on. We got it for $410.00.
You can always try eBay. There's usually a bunch of them on there.
Thanks! Not quite one of a kind but close ;-) I checked with Chrysler and there were 60 Touring Ediitons made in 04 /05 with the black/red two-tone option. The two-tone option was only available in 04 and 05. All of them were black over the "optional" color.
Closer to one of a kind was a guy I knew from another site that had an 05 red/black GT, there were only 15 of those made!
