Sharon, thanks for the note. funny you should think of me, I kept saying to Steve I don't see that the Underwood's PT...you know that beautiful one we liked so much at Cruz the Falls. Hope you are well and recovering quickly from your back surgery. You are right about one thing. Shipshewana was a wonderful show. I sure hope they do it again next year...We had a bit of an issue on the way home with Steve's PT. He lost his alternator. God watched over us well though...where we ended up breaking down, a reasonable motel, restaurant, and Chrysler dealer were all within a mile and a half of one another and they got us looked after and on the road again pretty much all in the same day....hope to see you in Watkin's glen and glad to hear you haven't given up on 2 pt's...cheers...Trisha
Hello Sharon and Craig...sorry I haven't responded before now..have not been on the site forever... So sorry to hear about your red PT...is she a write off or will you be restoring it, or just "get another"?? LOL...will we be seeing you in Shipshewana...at one point I thought I saw your name on a list...hope so....take care...Trisha McFadden
yes, one of our club members had the same thing. luckily his wife works for a chrysler dealer. i think also he had an aftermarket warrenty. the have engines on ebay for around $800. most of the time. probably cost $1500. installed.
Hey Craig, I saw where you lost the Red one. I had that problem and the best way I was told by my mech. was to replace the motor. Either with a good used one or a new one. I went with a new jasper motor just for the PT it cost me with everything included the labor 5,000.00 with a 3yr 36,ooomile warrty.
Just wanted to let you know. Mine was 2001.
