PT Cruiser as a workhorse. Who knew?

Posted on September 21, 2014 at 10:01am 0 Comments

PRPLPT has been having a heck of a time keeping up with the extended family of Bandaide. ;)

Beginning around Labor Day weekend, we have had so many big life-altering events that I just don't know how it could be the winds of change, maybe the tropical storm of change...

Just before the weekend, our son adopted his step-son without fanfare, on his own, without anyone pushing him. In other words, he did it from his heart (knew it was there. ;) ) So we started off…

A Cruiser of a different shape.

Takes him 2 days (broken parts :( ) to get this together during which time you could hear under his breath comments about Grammie and grandkids staying safe. ;) I was planning the same work for when I got back but I'm certainly not going to argue with it being done ahead of MY schedule. ;)

So the PT is back in working shape. And the 2nd…

Upcoming trip.

It's not exactly PT Cruiser related. It is cruiser related. ;) Preparing for a trip from Alabama to Illinois to pick up a new-to-me Sebring GTC. It's gonna be interesting to start driving this rare manual transmission after years of automatics.

Did I tell ya I'm looking forward to it? ;)

This one will give us 3 cruisers. One 02 Cruiser, one 99 cruiser and another 02 cruiser. Only headache so far is the Cruiser decided to protest by locking up the right front…
