PT Cruiser members hat pin

Posted on April 4, 2011 at 9:03pm 0 Comments

G'day all,

I have a collection of Chrysler / Mopar related hat pins/badges & similar small items. Does anyone have any they would like to sell or know where I can purchase them from. I have 2 PT cruiser badges at the moment (Las Vagas & Washington) in the 80+ I have, with a small budget I will pay up to $10 plus post cost to Australia.

         Cheers Steve

Tape player problem

Posted on June 25, 2009 at 4:31am 2 Comments

Has any body had any trouble with their sound system.
This happened a little while ago with the PT . I normally don't put cassettes in to listen to but when I did, it would not turn off, even when I turned the car off & removed the key (panic), it was stuck in fast forward. So no tapes get into the car let alone near the tape player !!

Steven,

My wife and I am trying to collect t-shirts or hats with club logos from various Cruiser clubs around the world.  If you are in a club that has such items please let us know how to purchase one.  Thank you.

Hey Steve.. Thanks for the comment! Is it still winter Down Under? We are heading into fall here... temps dropped all at once this week... in the upper 40's at night now and highs in the mid 70's. A week ago we were highs in the upper 90's... lows in the mid 70's!!
I Have a parade this coming Monday (Labor Day) and then a few small shows and a Motor Rally first weekend in October... my first such event, with a show'n'shine at end of cruise. I'll be posting pics as I do the events. My BIG event is the second week of October down at Ocean City, MD. That's where over 1,500 cars are on display and hundreds of others come down to just show off. A GREAT long weekend to be at the beach!
Take it easy and stay in touch!

Steve, the grille looks great. I probably need to redo mine because it sticks out a little further than I would like. Sorry but I've been out and about with my kids for the past few weeks.

I put the grille, on myself. It took about 30-45 mins just a lot of screws and bolts. Not to hard.

Hey Steve,
Man... a 6cyl HEMI engine?! NICE!!! I would like one of those in my PT! You must post some pics of the Charger when you have it perfectly restored to your liking, would love to see a photo spread on it. That little pup Jasper is a cutey that's for sure! Your avatar is one of my favorite shots!
I added the wood grain steering wheel cover a few years ago. I think they are still available... will check into where I purcased (on-line I know that) and send you an e-mail with the info. It was the only one that semi-matched the dash pod and center overlays I had added. You can also get a real PT Cruiser wood and leather wheel, but that costs like $400 and requires you send the company your old wheel. That's why I went with the overlay ring. LOL!!
Yeah... I wish I still had that '72 Dodge Challenger and my '88 Nissan Pulsar NX/SE still... those were my favorites... before my love affair with my PT that is!
Have a good weekend and catch you again soon.

Hey Steve... Just popped over to see your photos... nice PT! The red really looks like it has a deep gloss to it. Are you restoring the white 'Charger'? That doesn't look like the Dodge Chargers I remember in the 70's... is it a special to Australia? Looks nice... but the puppy still takes the prize for cutness! In your photo of the Mopar parts and posters, you have a picture of my first car... (though I think your picture is of a 1973 or 1974?) ... a 1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340 4bbl... and mine was in Hemi Orange.

That was one sweet ride indeed. Happy Cruisin'! TAZ

Hi Steven,
We might have some friends in common. Do you know Sam, (Touch of Class)? He goes to so many shows in Australia and wins. Also Scottie, (Bundy Red). Another friend is Graham. They have been a good support system for me. They make me laugh. Have a good weekend, Mickey

The other cars are from shows that I have entered. I wished that many were in my garage and one day a couple may. During this time of the year the top is up only when it is raining or too hot and I am dressed to go out and need not sweat. The flame interior is cool and the countryside is awesome.
