Dear, I picked interest on you after going through your page profile and demand it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here on ptcruisernetwork.ning.com because it is a public site. Could you please get back to me to my private email contact address ( jrollins1212@yahoo.com ) so that we can discuss privately. My regards, Jane
Marie,
Actually my PT Cruiser is more of a teal color. Sometimes it looks teal and sometimes more forest green. It is a 2001 and I think the Seamists you said were only made in 2003 for the 2004 year, right? My chrome bumpers were already on the car when I bought it, so I don't know the history. I do know it was owned by a guy that added chrome accents and skulls with red eyes for door knobs and chrome nudey lady license plate holder on the back. Whoever did the chrome bumpers did not leave a place to attach the license plate to the front bumper. So I have been stopped and given a WARNING once. The original owner sold it to a minister who continued to drive it as is, skulls and nude-y ladies, too. He added a Christian symbol: the chrome fish with "WWJD" on it for "What Would Jesus Do?" right above and to the left of the nude-y lady license plate holder!!! That cracked me up! Then it was owned by a nice family from Ireland for a year or less until they had to quickly sell it so they could return to Ireland to his very sick mother. Their 2 little girls had been terrified of the skulls, but still they stayed on it! When I bought it, the next day I removed the skulls and put chrome knobs with crystals on them in it and replaced the nude-y lady license holder with one I got from a thrift store with a message about recycling on it. Couldn't understand why all the other owners never bothered to change out the things that they didn't like. I love my PT Cruiser!! Originally I wanted either a purple one, or maroon one, or pretty blue one, but loved all the chrome details on this one and it ran like a dream, and the color was interesting and pretty, plus the price was right: it was the cheapest one we saw and the nicest looking one!! Sorry I wasn't much help about the chrome bumpers. Sorry it took me so long to reply. Couldn't sign-in every time I tried until today, after getting help from Taz.
It looks red to me?
Thanks so much, Marie. I'll try it tomorrow.
I don't think I've seen a red PT before. Still difficult trying to navigate on this site.
Thanks Marie, This site like so many has me confused at times and I don't find it that user friendly. But hopefully later I can add a few pictures of the convertible.
Also would like to be able to navigate so I can view other's PT's and of course discuss all the fun activities involved with these cars.
thanks
Thank you guys for the warm welcome.
Hi Marie from Columbus Indiana. thanks for the comment on our PT's, we do love our toys after years of showing Ford Mustangs, the PT followers are a refreshing group of vehicle lovers (note: never refer to a PT as a car, its a PT, or Cruiser, or combination of the two....not just a car, its a lifestyle)
Welcome from North Carolina....
