Well, I had a little accident which resulted in seven stitches in my hand. I've got my Billet Grille coming and wont be able to do anything for about 2-weeks. Now I know why there is a requirement for tempered glass versus plate glass.
Weather is super for working on PTs! Had a community yard sale this morning and it got darn hot around noon... 86 in sun and humid too! Pollen is now a factor here in Towson... my car is covered in a light yellow powder that hearlds in SPRING officially... UGH! Back to dusting the PT off 2 or 3 times a day again!
Glad you got your grille installed. You were obviously on the FAST TRACK recovery plan... HA! HA! HA!
***UPDATE***
Since I've never been one to actually follow all doctor's advice, the bandage and splint came off a week early. Today was so AWESOME weather wise that I had to get the grille on and it looks perfect!!! I will get pics posted soon...but for now I'm enjoying the weather!
Ok...so I'm hard headed...I can't stand wearing medical devices...so while at work today I took the splint off...it feels good using my hand normally...even if I have these wicked black stitches.
Someone has to say this, so it might as well be me... "when it rains... it pours!"... LOL!! Perhaps this coming weekend you can manage it? Weather is supposed to be good again. Here's hoping!
There's never a good time to have an accident, but with toys coming, that's like breaking your leg on Christmas Eve and getting a new bicycle! It's cruel and unusual punishment! :(
The funny part is that most people who know me automatically ask if it was really an "accident". I used to be a bouncer so my coworkers assume that was the true cause.
