My Bike!

Let me tell you a story about my AWESOME wife! This mother's day we stopped at Dick's Sporting Goods to get a pair of shoes for our son. I was bored waiting for him to pick a pair of shoes so I starting walking around. That's when I stumbled across a Baja Mini Bike that looks like a Harley Fatboy! Now I know mini bikes are usually for kids but this certain bike allowed a big boy like me -5'11" 230lbs - to sit comfortably! And the bike was on sale for $600 off! It was normally $799 but was on sale for $199. A pang of guilt hit and I couldn't think of asking for the bike on Mother's Day. We went to a Mother's Day dinner and I decided the next day I would go and get it. IT WAS GONE! That price was so low because it was the display model. My hopes dashed I went home and had a beer believing that I wouldn't ever find a deal like that again.

My wife, noticing my angst, told me how sorry she was for not getting it.

It is now Tuesday morning and I'm at work, my wife is off. She gives me a call at around 11 asking if I want my father's day present on father's day or now. She said now would be better since it would be hard to hide the present at home! She drove around Baltimore until she found another bike and bought it. It was $100 more than what I had found it on Sunday but she still bought it! I took it out for a spin this morning and it is a BLAST!

I still owe everyone pics of the new grille so when I get those I will also post pics of the Big Boy on his mini Fat Boy!

yes I would say that is a Great Fathers Day gift happy riding and I agree does sound like she is a keeper and would also like to see some pics of you on your new toy have a blast man
