Gee, I was thinking of dropping the special plate this year--it's rather expensive. Maybe I'll reconsider!
I do enjoy looking at the special plates on PT's and classic cars--some folks have really cute and clever "sayings" on their license plates.
Hello Carol, how the heck are you? wondering how many seamists are going to be in Shipshewana??? I see Sue sent in her registration. Steve and I sent ours in and will be staying with the Canadians at the Rue Blatz motel....let me know if we'll see you there....the more Seamist the better eh???? cheers and safe cruz'n my friend....Trisha
Unfortuneately Bendigo was in an area where 14 houses were lost and 1 person was deceased due to the fire. Beautiful part of the country there and glad you saw that part also in your travels.
The sad part of these fires are that some of them are still going witout anymore loss of life BUT this week who knows. Temperatures are expecting to reach the 40 C mark again and firefighters are extremely worried that they may not be able to contain the fires still burning. Very, very sad. And not only that arsonists have lit more fires since these deadly fires were started. There are some sick people in this world we live in.
I only wish that MORE of our club members will use this site. But, as you may have noticed, NO ONE paid any attention to the note I sent about this place. But................I will do it again because we now have a "presence" and perhaps some of the others will take advantage.
Carol, thanks for the note re: "our love story"...we really enjoyed meeting you. Have had emails back and forth with Gary Aldinger and I am gonna post some photos of his Seamist PT...He is not yet convinced to join up here, but is thinking about it. Nice man, he sent this link to the Puget Sound Cruisers, so hopefully we'll hear from the other coast. Lots of very unhappy PTers after the PTCC shut down their sites I guess. Never thought of putting Seamist on my headrests. The goddess was my first piece of chrome (after the package of course) and the theme evolved from there...
Steve's badge on his tailgate reads "Cheesey's edition" and mine reads "Goddess edition"...just for fun of course...cheers Trisha
It feels good to win but I prefer the PT shows over all the others because it more of a family get together. Our show is the end of Aug. we are hoping for about 100 cars since some of the clubs that had shows close to us have folded we should draw them to ours. Come on to that I will have both cars in that of if RTTB is on this year I will have both there. I told Cindy the other day I needed to get her disc from the camera Load some more pics on here to show, I hope soon. Thad
No I'll be at the PT's take flight show in Dover DE. that weekend with the Rt.66 car. I'll have the green one at the car show at VA beach the last week end in april. IT does better at all kind of cars shows than the 66, that shines at PT shows toke first place in stock at PIP in Williamsburg last year & 1 of the top 5 stock at RTTB this year. The Green one took second in Radical at the pip but not a chance at RTTB but than she won top 25 at a street car show & top 50 in another that had 165 cars in it and only 5 PTS.
Hey Carol. Looking forward to seeing Tammy and her husband's site. WOW, what's better than one SEAMIST GREEN PT???
two Seamist Green PT's....I am seamist green with envy...lol...are theirs both turbos???? I must go look for them now....cheers, and thanks again for turning us onto this network. I'm sure you can tell Steve and I are having a ball. Almost have him talked into Amish Country cruisin. Can't do the Young's dairy farm cause we host a car show and drag race here in town the same weekend....hmmm too many cruises and not enough time or $$$$ hahahahaha
