Had a great 2001 years ago, daughter/son in law destroyed it and now after 4 years the wife misses her PT and wants another. Ours was shown in some shows,a lot of cruise ins and loved the Cranberry…Continue

- We had a Canberry 2001 Cruiser until 2008 and gave it to the daughter. Nowwe have a 05 Convertible
- Do you belong to a PT Cruiser Club?
- Not any longer, rejoined the SCPTCC
- If so, which club?

- What modifications does your PT currently have?
- Before we gave our PT to the kids we had painted a gray strip on it, custom wheels, 17" tires, step pads, lower body mods, engine dress up, stereo system, chrome accessories, among a few.
Like I said Susie and i loved the PT but the daughter had a baby and needed a family car and loved the car...big mistake!!!!
We pampered the PT and they didn't, Son in Law and friend decided to change engine parts (timing belt, thermostat, etc) and it would not start after that........Who knows what they didn't put back on, the car ended up in a junk yard unbeknownst to us when the kids lost their house in a repo.........
Susie still loves the PT cars and has wanted to buy a newer model ...They are out there but not in good shape and man many miles on them..
It is November 2017 now and she still wants a PT Bad........... found a 2005 one owner, convertible GT and working to see if we can get it. I still have my stainless grille,door cups, strut bar off the o1 and think they will interchange with the 05.
We loved the Myrtle Beach and Va Beach conventions but hear there isn't much of a following now, It is SAD because they are great cars to drive and show plus we met some really neat people.
We enjoyed you guys but left when we gave the PT away, hope we can
re-join and see old friends again. We have missed you all.
