Changing Spark plug wires (leads)
Are there any problems when changing the spark plug leads (gaskets breaking?) Do I need any other gaskets for replacing. Cheers Steve

If the leads have been on for some time and never had boot grease on them it could be a problem breaking them loose but if your changing them it doesn't matter if the wires break off. Just remember to go to Auto Zone or somewhere like that and get the grease for the wires. It saves you a lot of headaches the next time you want to remove the plugs. And speaking of plugs remember to put antiseize on the plugs so they come out easier. Good luck with the project.

Hi,thanks for that ,my mechanic (1st time with the PT) was concerned if the plenum chamber gasket was damaged in removal it may be off the road for a few days?
