After a VERY busy June, I'm just now getting back to my computer....looks like you guys and gals have been busy too. That's a good thing!
Enjoy the race in ChicagoLand this weekend and hope the weather cooperates!

After a rainy week at Charlotte and good ol' "just racin" stuff going on, it seems the field of drivers is gradually changing, and the veteran drivers are having LOTS of challenges.
It was too bad the Coke 600 got so messed up, I've been there in the rain, and it's one miserable feeling to get in there and get all stoked for the race....only to have to leave and come back the next day to hopefully get the race in. But at least they got 1/2 way the race in. Congrats to the Reutimann, good call on their part to put them in that position. I can think of at least 3 teams that now wish they had made that call!
And here's to BILLY BAD BUTT!!!! He made a real impression on the FOX graphix engineers, even got his new name flashed all over the world. He'll have a hard time livin' this one down.
Whether I agree with Tony about his issue with Reutimann or not, I think BBB didn't need to chime in on a driver to driver conversation.
Enjoy the vid this guy put together last night, the ending is too funny. That's why I'm posting it, as opposed to a boring Dover commercial. Enjoy.
And so it's on to Dover....the monster mile!

Yea we've had some wierd happenings with motors so early this year. I agree the wrong one won, and I wish we could see at least a 10 lap race to the finish.

WELCOME Bunky!! Glad you found your way here, and you're rootin' for a couple of pretty great guys.

The Vegas race was....different. 11+ cautions and wayyyyyy to many wrecks!! Hey the wrong guy won.
On to Atlanta, and hope the weather gets better! Looks liek it will be okay, but one never knows.
Too bad about the Ford motors! What's up with THAT?!?!!

Hi Y'all,
I'm a newbie here. Nor Cal native. I love NASCAR!!!
55 and 48 are my guys. I sure would love to see Jr. win, though.
It would be great to be in Vegas on Sunday...not this time.
Let's go racin boys!!!!!!!!

HaHaHa are correct!!!!! 6 in total, but the last 4 years first place has gone to one of Jack's cars.
Martin - 1998 Roush's first
Kurt Busch - 2003
Biffle - 2005
Kenseth -2006 & 2007
Edwards - 2008

I thot it was a typical CA race....almost as exciting as Martinsville! :-))
But as I watch the race, I can't help but look in the back ground and see Big Bear and the beautiful mountains.
The Hendrick guys all had their challenges, Johnson was doing SO well, up until that one pit stop.
Too bad about Jr., I hope the interview DW did with him will squelch the theories that he did that on purpose. Does he deserve a fine....I would have been okay with whatever NASCAR wanted to do. He took responsibility for it, and didn't bow down about it. I was glad to see Vickers at least say it was over with and today was a different day.
On to the Land of the Slots.
I didn't get to watch qualifying, did J. Mayfield get in??

I believe that should make like the last 5 or so races Roush cars have won at Fontana
Ya gotta Love or Hate Matt Kenseth !!LOL
Little inside I drove Jalopies Destruction Cars back in the 60s with Greg Biffles Dad!! Also watched Greg win his first race at Portland!!
